Securities and Financial LLM

Tree

Is anyone out there getting an LLM in Securities/Financial Regulation? I saw an interesting program at Georgetown and am interested in discussing this option with students there.

Also, how do I find out the "best" schools that offer that LLM?

You may want to consider applying to Harvard Law School's LL.M., which has a Concentration in international finance. Specialized LL.Ms are not very frequent, I think, but some schools offer some interesting "concentrations".

Hi..I'm looking at Securities law and Corp. Finance Courses as well. Some programs which are looking very appealing to me so far are : 1) HLS 2) UPenn- Wharton and 3) Georgetown.

All three look like great options: not sure whether G'town matches up with the other two though. Look forward to any insights any of you may have.

Cheers!

The course in georgetown requires at least two years experience in scurities transactions so I was forced to apply to the general llm course. has anyone applied to the securities course and been accepted despite lacking the two year requisite? Maybe I shoud've made that gamble.
