Is there any possibility for the school to grant scholarhip to an applicant with years of working experiences? Please share your experience in this field. Thanks!

Hi, in my opinion it's not a matter of years, but the place of work. The receipt of scholarship greatly depends on your specialization. It will be a hundred times more difficult to receive a scholarship for an applicant with specialization in corporate or tax law than for somebody who specializes in human rights or similar public areas.
Law Schools consider a person who works for a business entity (especially if it is an international law firm) as capable to pay for its education from using its personal savings.

I dont totally agree with the fact that scholarship is dependent too much on the specialization and work experience. A lot of times its also merit based on your past records.

I have received scholarship from Vandy which covers 25% of my tution fees. I have had almost 5 years full time work -experience and I will be specializing in International Legal Studies.

Then what if I specialized in corporate or tax, worked for internatinal firms for years but in a less developed country, where the salaries are not at all comparable to those offered by firms in US?
The possibilities that I get a scholarship are odds?

scholarships, aside from financial need, depend on your previous record (both academic and work exp.), on subject you want to focus on (more likely to be grante if you study HR than business or tax law), on the school (merit based scholarship from Harvard means you're a genius, while from 20th-30th ranked means you are above their applicant average)
