Revised CV

FAR

All,

Your advice would be very appreciated...

I spotted a mistake in my CV. Do you think I should email the admissions committee and provide them with my revised CV? Or should I ask first whether it would be allowed?

Thank you.

i think submission of revised cv would not be allowed. i believe if it is only a minor mistake, this would not affect your whole application package. so be hopeful and everything will be alright.

Thanks care bear...

Does not mean to argue your opinion or something, but do you think a wrong year of university graduation or the like in a CV would affect an application?

Some universities occasionally allow applicants to change their personal statements or CVs...

Thanks again

1. If you sent your transcripts, the years on those will preempt the CV.

2. If you noticed a mistake, why would you not send a revision? Just notify the school admissions person and let them know. Perhaps call the on the phone to explain. It should not be a big deal.

Since it's a minor oversight, I think the admissions committee would appreciate the candor.
