Hello

I applied to Upenn about 3 weeks ago. I submitted my transcripts and TOEFL score via LSAC. However, on the Upenn status webpage it is stated that they have received my TOEFL score but not my transcripts? Does anyone else have the same experience?


Anyone?


I had the same problem. I sent an e-mail to them some weeks ago and they answered it explaining the following:
"Thank you for your email. The reason your status page cannot update comes from conflicting information on your online application and what was submitted via LSAC. We have received transcripts for you and according to our records your application is complete. The reason you are unable to view this is because we have received two transcripts via LSAC, but four degrees are listed on your submitted application. When the information received does not match the information indicated on an applicants application, the status page cannot update. Our system updates based upon what is listed on the application and what is received. We cannot edit an online application once it is submitted. "

The point is that two of my degrees/courses are under way. They said that it will not delay or affect the evaluation of the application.

4. I'm the 4th brazilian admitted to UPenn.

I hope their quota for Brazilian students is at least 5! rsrsrs

We can also pray for these guys to be accepted in someplace else. And leave this seats to us...

Hi Jenny,

I was admitted on the 22nd, too. I don't know if there is any who received a notice thereafter. Nevertheless, I can tell you this. I heard that the odds to get accepted in the regular cycle for those who got deferred from early action is very very high. Hang in there!

No, I didn't. My application is for the regular cycle.

I'm argentiean and I've already received the acceptance letter from UPenn and Duke, still don't know which to choose. I'm still waiting for NYU and HLS but my hopes aren't that high though.

I heard that NYU accepts mostly averybody who has demonstrated a minimum of legal proficiency.
What I am trying to say is, if you are accepted from Duke and UPenn, you will under normal circumstances also get accepted at NYU. Their program is the largest one in the US.

I think deferred applications are informed along with the later applicants and that is around mid-March.

i sent an email to ask whether it's normal situation and recieved below email:

ya, i've sent an email to Penn Law(gradadms@law.upenn.edu) at 2/6 pm 3.30 local time, and still waiting for the message from them....
