Hi all,
I'm admitted to NYU and Michigan's int'l tax LLM program.
(just received Umich's AD - informed by email about 5 hours ago).
It has never bothered me cos I always believed I should go to NYU for its ranking, location and job opportunities, until I saw this information on Umich's website "the program only enrolls of up to 10 LL.M. students each year "- that's fabulous, I always love small program!
Both NYU and Georgetown's tax programs are too big...
Any thoughts?

If you like smaller programs, UMich is very interesting. Where are you from?

Well...I don't think either matters in this economy as to job opportunities - be realistic. If you prefer city life and can afford higher cost of living, then go with NYU; if otherwise or you wish to have an option of transferring into the JD program, then Mich can be a good place to hit the books for stellar grades. Good luck.

Thank you guys.
I'm from Shanghai, China. And I don't wanna hit the books for the whole year...
I'm not sure if I'm gonna like the life in Ann Arbor, but sometimes I think if I turn down Umich, i might lose the only chance to live in a small town throughout my life.
But also, I do understand it is not wise to take into account these unrealistic things when making a decision.
