I haven't gotten through the tax LLM at NYU, these are the only options I have

current tax llm at NYU. if you go to the corp track, you may be allowed to take some tax courses but probably won't have access to the career service support for tax llm students.

makes Sense, but if I take corp up and then go for a concentrated route towards tax will that help?

you probably still won't have career support from tax program, as long as you are not officially a tax llm student. also, I've heard it's almost impossible to officially transfer from a non-tax to tax llm program at NYU

if you are not from US, there's an international tax program at NYU, also with access to the tax career service, but that program is hard to get in as well
