One more off tangent question... What about the MILE program in WTI, Bern?
Posted Mar 11, 2012 15:37
@jmitchell Thank you! very thorough! but it sounds about right.
Alot of admissions were sent last Thursday so Im guessing theyll send out a few more by monday! atleast I hope so.
Im guessing decisions come out by each program at a time (domestic students first, then foreign) am i correct?

I could be so wrong, but I don't think they send out results on Saturdays and Sundays. Since no one's come forward with admissions to a few programs, we may (again, may) assume that more results are yet to come.
That, by the way, is common procedure. Northwestern releases batches of results, Columbia has early and late admissions, UPenn and UChicago have waitlists... And so forth. Let's at least wait 'til Monday... Or perhaps Tuesday.

Yes i dont think NYU has à waitlist - on top of that we have waited for so long that one day more or not is not that much..

They take 425 llm students or so a year at NYU. That's a lot of emails, plus there are clearly half the programs where no on has received any info either way-
Til tomorrow!!

my friend in NYU just told me that the coming week is their spring break......

is it also for the administration? i mean last year it was from 14-18 march and according to the tracker some had answers the 15th.. which means they still send admissions during holidays?
Posted Mar 11, 2012 18:12
I applied for Traditional too and I didn't receive any email so far. Maybe they send admissions according to each country: for example no many from Europe posted that they got admitted. I'm just guessing..

Hey,
I received an offer for the Traditional LLM at NYU. However, I was also accepted to the LLM program at LSE and I am having trouble deciding between the 2 programs. Anyone can share any thoughts on this issue?
Thanks!

Hi, first off, and with all due respect, i don't think this should be the Discussion Board to view this topic, maybe you should open one with an specific discussion on this matter. Nevertheless, I think the question you post is not that simple to answer, and it all depends on what kind of lawyer you want to be and also what type of culture you prefer. Expenses are also different in both locations, and you should also take in consideration your local market, how many lawyers in your country have a LLM in LSE? if not many, maybe that can make you unique and push your carrier. (and viceversa)
Both programs are great. So, Congrats!
Regards.

Contrary to what a number of posts suggest, at least some offers have been made for the 40-odd person Intl Legal Studies program.

I've seen International Business Regulation (x1), but I haven't seen anything on the tracker re: the International Legal Studies program. Just curious.
