Hi,
My name is Gaby and I am doing the Corporation Law program next fall. I am Spanish but currently I am working in a Law firm in Dublin. I am not sure what to do with housing in NYC.... After reading several e-mails here, most probably I will apply for housing at NYU.
You said that you wanted to put in contact with someone to talk about the courses..... if you want you can write directly to my email account and we can change ideas about what are the most suitable courses and our interest and worries in this respect.

And Housing !!!. The least expensive is 130 Mac Doughal Street which is $ 5009 per semseter which makes it $ 10018 for the aca.year. wow.. first semsester 8/31 to 12/15 ..
5000 bucks for 31/2 months . II am considering the obtion of some place near newark,nj .. a 30 min. commute . I have no problems with that. it takes less time than up in NYC or queens / brooklyn.
What have you guys decided on ?.

hi, I came across this site, and and thought I would say "hi." I am a current LLM at NYU (part time, so I will graduate same as you MAY 2006). I study antitrust law (which other countries call "competition law").

First of all, welcome! NYU is a great school and the corporate law program is excellent (or so I have heard. I did take one class last fall - -Mergers & Acquisitions, taught by Judge Allen, a former judge of the Delaware Court of Chancery, THE corporate court in the U.S.). I think you all will enjoy it very much! And I hope to see you all in the Fall.

If you have any questions, I would be happy to answer them.

About housing: its expensive. The dorms are very expensive but in a GREAT location (both because its cool and fun and because its VERY close to school). I live further north, which is much cheaper. Brooklyn is also fine. NYC has GREAT public transportation, so you can get a place further away for cheaper, but it will not be as fun or cool.

Well, hope to see you all in the Fall. I just finished examinations and am going to go out for a drink!!
