NYU LLM Admitted Students and or Tax LLM Alumni

Hi Guys:

Trying to start a thread for admitted students. I just found out I was admitted to the domestic tax program last week.

First off, what are people doing about housing. It seems like student housing is the way to go.

Second, do any past NYU LLM students have any insight to give.

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Hey! Congratulations on your admission! I will be starting in the full-time tax program in the fall as well. I also plan to live on campus -- I think Mercer was my first choice in my housing application.

I'm excited to start and to meet everyone!

Hey Danny - that's awesome. What's your background. I'm also planning on making Mercer my first choice but I haven't pulled the trigger yet.

I graduated from a top 100 school, cum laude, in 2008 from California.

Hope to see you this fall.

Kevin

Cool. I'm graduating in a few days from Emory, I went to UF before law school, and I'm originally from Fort Lauderdale.

I will also be attending NYU for the domestic tax program. I believe I also put Mercer as my first choice for housing. Living on campus is definitely the way to go. You aren't going to find your own apartment in Manhattan for anything near what NYU's lowest rates are.

Is anyone considering doing the Advanced Professional Certificate in Business Law this summer?

Can someone explain to me how I can check my e-mail with my NetID and/or forward the e-mails to my Gmail?

Hi everybody,

is there anyone who has in mind to live off-campus? Let me know. I am a 28 Italian lawyer enrolled in the 2012/2013 Taxation LLM and I am looking for an apartment to share with someone else.
