NYU's acceptance emails have been quite standard so far (as it seems by other user).
The deadline to accept an offer is Abril 16.
Scholarship recipients will be contacted by email in "sping, and no longe than the deadline".
At least my email said this.

thanks for letting us know! Hope the rest of us hear something soon! the waiting can really drive us nuts. I feel like a conspiracy theorist who is looking for patterns where there are none

Additionally, in some e-mails that I have had with NYU I was told that decisions regarding financial aid will not be released until later in the spring for all scholarships, including the Hauser.

Past years (last year) indicate that scholarship decisions were rolled out in mid-late March.

Are they still considering applications for the traditional track?
My application has been under review for a while now, but to no avail.

hey nervousnelly,

copy-pasting the portion of the acceptance letter on deadlines to accept and financial aid:

"Instructions for reserving a seat in the class are available online and also will be included in your admission packet. We look forward to hearing from you by the enrollment deadline of April 16, 2018.

Students selected to receive a merit-based scholarship will be contacted by email later in the spring and before the deadline; no action is required for consideration. Given the competitive nature of our scholarship programs, we’ve prepared information online about other financing options, and we encourage all students to begin their research so that they are prepared to make an informed decision."

Hahaha, I reckon a good number of us are in NervousNelly's shoes, so thanks for the copy-paste!

Thanks so much you guys! I guess the rest of us still have hopes until we hear about financial aid decisions being made / the deadline to accept passes.

Fingers crossed XXX

I am not sure about the other specialized programs in NYU (and other admitted applicants), but I think that generally NYU will look at your profile and experience, aside from the usual law school rank and other criteria.

Does anyone here have an idea when NYU will release its FA decisions? I asked a friend who's currently studying in NYU and she said that NYU will release the decisions a few days (or a weeks) before the April 16 deadline.

Look at the post by Harvey which is like 5 or 6 posts before yours and you will find your answer

Congratulations for your admission to NYU. I have applied the corporate program and I do worry that the competition in this program is much more intense than in the general LLM.

Yes, I got admitted 2 weeks ago. I believe the selection process hasn't finished yet.
Just don't lose your hope. Wish you good luck!

I think the only difference is that experience will somehow matter in specialized programs, although other admitted students may correct me on this.

Don't lose hope. I heard that the school is still rolling out admissions until late March!! Wish you all the best in your application!!
