Hi Guys,

Congrats to all admitted students and hopefully more decisions will be announced shortly for those who are still waiting. Good Luck to all of us :D

Luckily, I got admitted in the IBRLA program and I am wondering what my next step should be, should I just be waiting to receive the official admission letter in the mail and do nothing until then?

I'm beginning to suspect that if you haven't received an admissions offer yet, it is probably a sign that one is not forthcoming.

Guys, relax. People got letters from NYU last year as late as April.

But what can we do if we need to give a response to other universities before that?

Somebody got anxious and decided they shouldn't be alone in their misery...I just don't understand why they won't release all responses in one day rather than making people crazy like this.

Call them as ask for expedited offer, explain you have offers from other places and you need an answr no later than x day.

Did that. But not much help. They will say they can't attend to individual instances.

Guys,

NYU replied to my e-mail regarding scholarship. They confirmed that scholarships are granted along with the decision notification.

Therefore, no scholarship for me and for those who received the decision notification without any indication of financial assistance.

Congratulations! When did you send your application?

Hello guys,

I have just received my offer to the International Taxation Program. Until now, the only statement regarding scholarship is the usual "while we are unable to offer financial assistance"....

Good luck to everybody!

Have been waiting for their mail.

I hope all acceptance decisions haven't been communicated already.

Also, has anyone gotten rejected yet?

Hi all, i just received an offer from NYU for IBLRA, but i got no financial assistance with below statement.

"While we are unable to offer financial assistance, other financing options are among the array of information presented."

But i wonder that i got no financial aid becos i did not register "Need Access financial aid application", as shown below in NYU financial aid page.

"All students admitted to NYU School of Law are considered for Deans and Vanderbilt Scholarships through the financial aid process. To be considered for these scholarships, admitted students must complete the Need Access financial aid application. All admitted students should submit the Need Access application, including students who applied for a named scholarship program as part of their application for admission. Upon receipt of your completed financial aid application, the Committee on Admissions and Financial Aid will review the application together with your application for admission. You will be notified of any award(s) following the committees review."

Is it too late for me to request for any financial aid or tuition fee discount ?

Or after admitted i can still request for financial aid to NYU?

Can someone share experience about this matter?

Congrats to everyone, who has been accepted!

Well, in the LSAC Application home, in the "Scholarships" section is stated: "Additional Scholarships (The non-Hauser scholarships) All admitted students will automatically be considered for all other merit-based scholarships for which they are eligible on the basis of their admissions application; no additional application materials are required. Decisions regarding all scholarships for the full-time taxation program are released on a rolling basis, and follow notifications of admission to the LLM degree. For all other master's programs, admitted students selected to receive one of our merit-based scholarships will be notified at the time of admission. All LLM scholarship decisions are final and non-negotiable."

Congratulatuons for your admission.
