I hope I will get a decision by the end of this week! I am extremely excited and I am also waiting decisions from HLS, UCLA, SLS, CLS.

Good morning!

Quick question: has anyone NOT received yet the email confirming the completion of the application??

Thanks!

What is PROBABLY happening, is that the they are giving out decisions by group of LLMs.
As I can deduce from this overly panicked long thread that only Taxation, Legal Studies, Competitive and General LLM students only have had the ever calming privilege of hearing back from NYU.
Us others in IBRLA etc. will have to wait after the wave of the other LLMs' acceptance.

Do I make any sense?

Hi,

Could those who were admitted tell when their application went under review please ?

Mine went under review on 14th February and I'm still waiting.

Thanks

Hi, I received the e-mail that my application is complete and has been submitted for review on 5th February and got the offer just 2 days back.

So hopefully, yours is around the corner too. All the best.

According to the AppTracker, I much more think (and secretly hope) that admission offers have been disclosed for now by countries rather than by LL.M. programs

Well, my requirements list has just gone blank (I have been obsessively checking it every 10 minutes!), so I guess (and hope) that a second round of emails should be sent along the week...

Good luck to everyone still waiting!

I really don't get it though,

My status hasn't changed since 19/11/2013 when I got my e-mail about how my file is now under review with the committee and that decisions will be given out on mid-march.
I have no mailings, and there is only three lines in my requirements list.
What can be reckoned from this massively random data ?

My requirement list is still full, and the Apptracker shows admissions already offered to people from my country (Mexico) and my program (General Studies), so pretty much I am ready for a rejection.

Good thing I was already offered an admission from Georgetown.

Good luck to you all.

Please can some alumnus tell us whether those information are true or not?
Is it by region? Is it by Program? Is the blanking out of lists relevant?

Hi All,

I called them today to ask how long it will take to make a decision and they said that they just started to send out decisions and I should get my decision by mid March. I then asked if they go by countries and they said "no". There's a different order. I guess they choose the best students with high GPA/TOEFL, good school and personal statement first and then they will see what to do with others:)
Still waiting too...
Good luck to all!

THANK you.
I second that opinion. The seats are first filled with outstanding achievements individually and then there is a qualification from a pool of good applications, whereas the admissions are not individual but are executed by comparisons of multiple files within that same pool, hunger games style.
