Northwestern is definetely the worst! You have to open the e-mail, which asks you to open a website, which asks you to click on a button to download a PDF with a decision letter...if you, like me, have a lousy Acrobat Reader...IT CAN TAKE FOREVER! Lol...

I wonder if the employees from NYU`s admissions department step by to have some fun with us freaking out... Should I be admitted, I'll definitely ask them about it...
We must hang on tight. There are probably two hundred admissions, and they need to input a lot of information into NYU`s system. That is probably the reason that it takes a bit longer.

Do you really believe they are issuing the offer emails first and the rejection emails later? It seems that some have already received a rejection email. Also, I am sure that people are more enclined to post about having an offer than about being rejected, so do you think we can rely on this theory?

Based on last year's thread, I think that scholarship offers came in with the mailed admission package.
However, this year, as pointed out by some members, there is a proviso at the bottom of the admission e-mail which states "All admitted students who are selected to receive a merit-based scholarship are notified in their electronic decision notification".
If anybody with scholarship can confirm that they were actually informed of such in their e-mail admission, then this answers the dilemma.
