Congratulations to all accepted candidates!
I am still waiting :( Have a question: is it possible that they are replying following the order of submission of the applications? Mine was complete only on 16 January with the last transcript, so I was wondering if they firstly replied to the ones who submitted early. What do you think?


My application was completed on January 9 and I received an offer yesterday! I hope you are right! Good luck!!

I submitted my application on 9 September 2014 and completed in October. I have not heard any good news from them till now.

I submitted my application on 9 September 2014 and completed in October. I have not heard any good news from them till now.

Any international students addmitted to tax LLM (NOT int')??
I understand that there is not much students admitted to the int' tax llm as well..?
Did anyone contact the school with respect to this issue??

Do you know if all the scholarships were awarded? If I was addmited with no scholarship, is there still a chance that I will get one? what about Hauser?

No. All scholarships are awarded in the email of admission (see bottom of your admission email).

Of course, I am a lawyer from Latin America, I have already a master. Honor student, both under and graduate studies. I have some publications one in a law review in the US. Six years of experience in the judicial branch of my country, international organizations and research. More than my experience, I believe that admissions are a matter of preparation. The first time that I applied I did not received any admission mainly because of my English level and my lack of knowledge of the US system of education. So don't give up!

Hi! I have been accepted to NYU. I didn't get a scholarship so I think I will accept UCL or LSE instead though as the fees are much cheaper. But I'll wait and see if I get any other scholarships.

you should email them - it does not affect anything; you'd have surety, particularly when 1 April is approaching. Good luck.

I emailed them last week for the same concern... and the following was their reply:

"All decisions at NYU are released in March to foreign-trained applicants who supplied complete materials by the deadline. You may visit our website for full information about application review and decision release. Unfortunately, an earlier decision is not possible in individual circumstances.

However, you should be aware that the Law School Admission Council has adopted a Statement of Good Admission and Financial Aid Practices for LLM Programs, which indicates that member schools should ask for commitments from admitted students no earlier than April 1 for masters programs that start in the Fall semester. (The link to the Statement leads to a PDF document, which requires a PDF reader to open. If you have problems accessing the document, kindly let us know.)

At NYU, provided an application is not withdrawn prior to decision by the applicant, the Committee on Graduate Admissions will render a decision. When considering any offer of admission, we encourage all applicants to read the terms of the offer carefully, and to act in good faith with any terms to which they may agree."

I am still waiting on my decision. I'm a foreign applicant, my application completed on the 15 December deadline (NYU confirmed all compiled and sent to their admissions committee on 9 January). I emailed them to make sure that this was considered before deadline and they confirmed it was and that I would therefore hear from them 'in March' about the outcome.

I applied for the Traditional LLM.
