I got in through the wait list last year (and am graduating shortly).
From what I recall I found out I had been accepted in late April.

Yo! I've sent them an e-mail yesterday to get some updates.

I am quite pessimistic fore two reasons :
(1) They were initially supposed to release all decisions by mid-may, but they told me yesterday to basically wait until in the end of may
(2) A girl has notified us here that she got admitted through the wait list early May.

I think they make us wait in case some admitted students may have problems with their visa or financing.

I just received my admission to NYU (Corporation) after being placed in waitlist!

To tell you the truth I'm a little bit shocked they took so long to let us know! I don't think I'll accept their offer since I already made the deposit and summer program payment at UPenn and I'm taking the Wharton Business and Law certificate which I believe is a big plus. If I hear anything else I'll let you know!
