Harvard TOEFL Minimum

Hi! Hope someone has passed through the same situation. I would like to apply this year to Harvard. I got 109 points on the exam. Although it is a great score, I got 24 on the Speaking section (minimum being 25). Should I repeat it? Do you know someone that has passed through the same situation?

Hi Sergio,

Congratulations on the 109! I’m applying as well this year, I’ve read a lot and asked a few alumna, all agree that a score or two wouldn’t be an issue and people have been accepted with up to 3 scores lower than the required sub section score. I know some as well planning to apply with 102 score and a 23 writing score, so that shouldn’t deter you.

If you don’t mind the extra test, why not, just so you can have that peace of mind. But if you feel it would be difficult to get the same score again just apply with the 109 its amazing already!

Best of luck!
