NYU Exec Tax LL.M. or GULC

NYU Executive Tax LL.M. OR GULC

I have been accepted to the Tax LL.M. at Georgetown and the Executive Tax LL.M. program at NYU.

I am not sure which of the two programs I should choose.
I plan on practicing tax law in Texas, where I wish to work for a private law firm once I graduate.
One more wrinkle to consider before giving out your verdict. If I attend the Executive LL.M. at NYU, upon successful completion of the program, my degree will state that I completed the EXECUTIVE Tax LL.M. program. I was wondering if the mention of "EXECUTIVE" will be harmful to my prospects of employment in private firms?

Yep it's a tough question. NYU Tax LLM is supposed to be the most respected LLM program anywhere. The fact that you would get the executive degree would cut against that for sure, but I'm not sure how much.
