Yes, applied to the tax program. Already graduated so did not have to submit fall grades. Had a lower class rank and lower tax gpa than you (at a top 50 school).

Always, what were your stats if you don't mind me asking? I'm trying to gauge my odds here.
Clarity, I sent you a PM.

Wow congrats to those in so far! Did you apply to other places? Do you think you will attend? I wonder if waiting is the hardest part or if making that final decision is the hardest part. :-)

I applied to the other members of the tax trifecta (Georgetown and Florida) and got those decisions in December. NYU is usually the most selective so most of the successful NYU applicants are in the same happy boat. Also, I think waiting is waaay more stressful than choosing and I'll stick by that opinion until I have to choose.
BTW, Crescent, I don't know your exact numbers, but I'm betting your credentials were also better than mine. I'm so impressed by the people on here...if I'd discovered this place before I would have given up hope out of shame over my stats!

Wow I can't believe you've already gotten all those decisions already! I just went complete at NYU in mid-December and my Florida and Georgetown applications aren't complete yet.
Did you receive any notification about scholarships? Are you leaning one way or another? I'd really like to plan a trip to visit DC/NYU.

I went complete in mid-November for all of them because I was trying to make certain I got the early application boost. It helped that I had already graduated so my school transcripts were complete and I didn't need to send updates. My recommenders were also amazing, they both cranked their responses out within two days of my sending the requests. I think those are the big sticking points for most people and I really lucked out there.
I haven't heard anything about scholarships. I don't know if that information comes later or if I just didn't qualify, probably the latter. Am leaning towards Florida or NYU. I've visited Georgetown before and DC is very nice but the metro doesn't seem all that convenient and it looks like it'll be expensive to keep a car. Good luck! Perhaps we will be classmates in the fall.

To those who have been admitted, did you receive your admission letter via email or regular mail?

Email. The email gives you a link and you log in as though you are completing your application, then there's a link to a pdf file, accessible only by using your SSN/SIN. The letter indicates paper materials are to follow.
Did you apply to other places? Do you think you will attend? I wonder if waiting is the hardest part or if making that final decision is the hardest part. :-)
I applied to only two programs and have been admitted to both. I think waiting is very hard (as evidenced by my creation of this thread!) but it's starting to sink in what a big decision I now have to make!
Glad we're all in this waiting/decision limbo together! It's nice to have people to share questions and answers.

Tax. I'm a domestic applicant and applied just to the NYC program (not NUS).
After I saw your post, I went back and looked at my complete date - I received my complete email in early October. So if I were you, I wouldn't be worried yet since you haven't been complete nearly as long as I had been.
Hope that helps!

In past years, domestic tax and @NUS decisions have gone out first. The other programs follow quickly after, so I wouldn't worry if you haven't heard anything yet and don't hear for another couple of weeks. It looks like they've just started sending decisions out and only domestic tax people have heard anything yet.

Is there anybody here who applied to the NYU@NUS Program? (In 2009, results were released around this time.)
Posted Jan 11, 2011 13:24
I have applied to NYU@NUS but havent heard anything yet. I think the results should be out any soon.
