NYU "Application Complete"?

Awojc

Hey Guys, has anyone received any e-mail confirming "application complete" for the NYU LLM or asking for more documents.

I am a foreign applicant, and I sent some of the stuff hard copy. They are unable to confirm receipt of the hard copy materials; and I am yet to receive any e-mail confirming that my application is complete or not.

Any one with any news?

Hey, ye my app. is complete, but I handed all my documents in in October, and only got a completion email on the 15th of December - after mailing them several times!

Chase them up!

Just confirm that you mailed it to the right address. If you did, then they should have it. I am not sure how NYU feel about inquiry emails otherwise, you could give that a go too. Sorry about that, I know how anxious you must be feeling.

No point sending a mail. I remember I sent one and the reply I go was to the effect that all information is available on website and Graduate Admissions is not in a position to answer individual emails. NYU is the only coll that I have applied to which refuses to even look into emails.

Bookcrazy, my "application complete" email concluded with this: "If you have any questions regarding your application, please feel free to contact the Office of Graduate Admissions via email at law.grad.moreinfo@nyu.edu"

I then emailed them on that address with a question, and they got back to me the same day with an answer. So, I wouldn't discount emails as a way of communicating with them.

Thanks guys. I had called them on phone about two days ago, and the guy that anwered the call just asked me to wait for the e-mail that they cannot track the documents i sent hard copy.

I may just try the e-mail option again.

Thanks.

Okay, guys. I have just received the application complete e-mail; and that was after i sent two successive e-mails to NYU.

Cyberlawyer, i guess you should e-mail them and ask, but not necessarily worry. My understanding is that if anything is lacking you would be contacted. If you are not contacted it may mean nothing is lacking, but somebody omitted to inform you that your application was complete at the appropriate time. At any rate, it is not as if your online form got 'missing'.
