Hello everyone, I have been admitted to the NWU LL.M /kellog program! has anybody else here got the acceptance?

Hi there! Still waiting for some replies, but I'm seriously considering accepting NU's offer (LLM/K) ;o)
Snoopy 2007 - Congrats! when did you receive your offer? since their deadline for acceptance is march 20, i think it is time to think seriousl about if you should take it.

I received yesterday the email notifying me that the decision was ready that I should log in to my Status Check webpage. However I was not able to download the file due to an error in the link, just a while ago I was able to do it, awful night wondering about the decision!!!
But I am admitted, that is what matters!!!
For those waiting I applied the last day 02/01/ and my application was complete 02/24/2009.

I am so worried, I was in Italy the last 2 weeks and had no internet in my hotelroom so had to rely on internet cafes.
Before I left I had mailed and faxed all my scholarship paperwork....SO I THOUGHT....
I just read on the admited student website about this suplemental form...
I never read about it before, and got admited after they send out the email.
I just printed it and faxed it but sure do hope I still have a chance to get a scholarship and or grant....
If anyone hasnt send the SUPLEMENTAL form, do so ASAP.
It's on the admited website, and it's not that easy to find!
Just wanted to make sure no one made the same mistake I did!

sorry to hear, dutchgirl. I hope I've sent everything correctly, as I've received an e-mail from Dimple Patel with just one attachment (1 sheet only) to fill up and fax back to their office. Decisions will be made before April 10, and so long I've heard anything new...

Well, the good news is that I was just told by my firm that they would be sponsoring my contemplated education in the US. This is most honorable considering the world-wide econimic crisis. While the choice of program is still at my discretion, I would probably have to seriously think about Penn, taking the advice from a couple of directors at my firm, a Wharton graduate and a Penn Law LL.M. graduate. There are no LLM/K graduates at my firm.

Bcool - good for you to get sponsorship for your study especially in view of the current global economic hardship. is it conditioned upon ur continued service for the firm aftr u graduate? may i ask what kinda firm u r working with? law firm or accounting firm? coz the other day u mentioned u hav a CPA sth. but in any event i think its a good thing u dont have to worry abt the expenses now. congrat! as for schools, i think u cant go wrong by choosing either way.
apparently its the same case in china that penn law and wharton have bigger alumni network compared with nu and especially the llm/k program. i had the opportunities communicating to a few of the current llm/k students, all of them are very happy with what they have been learning and experiencing, in particular with respect to kellogg part. this is also helping me decide to go for the llm/k program.

you're very likely to hear something within this week. it usually takes 8 weeks, but you shouldn't worry yet. best of luck, and hope to see you joining our fb group anytime soon
