Me too!! Applied also to nyu, cls and hls and no news!! I hope is fading fast.... just wondering if there are any still waiting with excellent credentials and who stand a good chance of being admitted (graduated top in class/publications/law review) who have not heard- as that would give us some hope that not all the places have been allocated yet??!!!

i remember when i lost my mind
there was something so pleasant about that place
even your emotions have an echo in so much space
and when you are out there wirhout care
yes, i was out of touch
but it wasn't because i didn't know enough
i just knew to much!!
does that make me crazy??

If you have not heard yet from CLS and Harvard, you are problably done.

As to Berkeley, they just sent out their first batch of acceptances, they will send out the second (and final one in two weeks); if you are not on that list, you are either waitlisted or rejected (waitlisted is the same as rejected in terms of chances of getting in).

As to NYU (same as for CLS and Harvard).

.......but until you receive that rejection letter i guess anything can happen.

HLS has yet to issue decisions, which will likely occur beginning on March 22. Proffering misinformation is not helpful.

I am totally confused now....

I emailed yesterday NYU and asked could I please have my decision since the deadline has passed- they said they have still not reviewed my application and the committee are still reviewing applications at this stage....

I am totally confused- how can they be reviewing applications, when they already have handed out scholarships??!! She emailed me back today saying tehy cannot give me a date when they will decide on my application...

at least that means that they still review .. rather then only sending out rejections... that is great news!!!

Hi everyone!

I do agree with Hopeful : No news is just no news.

Wizard, please stop saying that the admission season is over you are depressing everybody.

When did you all guys apply?
Remember that they review the applications on a rolling basis.

Let's keep a positive mood.

@ Hopeful3,

Wait it out. CLS will have a third wave soon.

I dd not apply to Berk., so cannot tell you.

I applied to Harvard and can tell you on good authority (their own) that the decisions ARE NOT OUT YET. They will be out by the last week of March.

If CLS is your choice, keep expressing interest. Send a recommendation and a covering letter of your more recent works. It does not have to be you winning a Nobel, things like a new publication, new grades etc. Keep them interested.

@ Herr Commandante,

You are wrong about HLS. They are not rolling decision makers and release every decision around the same time. Their application materials state that upfront. So, relax and avoid mis informing applicants already anxious about their results.

Regarding Columbia, I understand they really review on a rolling basis, meaning it is completely natural you haven't heard from them yet.

Regarding NYU, if you haven't heard anything yet I think you still have a chance. They probably reviewed the applicants who applied for scholarships first, which explains why some people got admitted + awarded scholarships before some applications were even glanced at.

Guys, I got admitted to NYU, but I don't think I'm going to accept. They gave me until April 15 to get back to them. That means that there'll be at least one extra place on offer after April 15, or even before that if I decide to forego it earlier.

My crosspost from another thread.

I was admitted by both NYU and CLS. Frankly speaking I thought that NYU will give mó some money. Not necessarily the full tuition waiver, but at least something. Since NYU's financial aid is entirely merit based (unlike CLS, for example) this fact means that NYU thinks I am not worthy enough. Damn it.

Generally I have enough funds to support my LLM, but the fact itself has pissed me off deeply. I will go to CLS so my slot in NYU will be vacant)

Same here...

I got through CLS and Chicago... I will decide between the two and give NYU a pass. So, that makes three slots...(my money is on CLS between CLS and U Chicago. By the way)...
