I'm a domestic candidate, and as such, I am curious if everyone who was accepted is a foreign candidate. Have any domestic candidates been accepted?

I haven´t received anything so far (my application was notified as complete also on Dec 21). That´s probably an indication of incoming not so good news for me....

It is too early to be so pessimistic, as the admission period lasts by March or early April. You still have time.

I also got an admission e-mail last week (along with many others on this forum)...While I'm really delighted about the early intimation, I havn't received any offer package yet. They said that it would take some time...

More importantly, in response to a query from me, they clarified that no fellowship decisions have been taken as of now. These are expected to be taken after admissions are finalized, i.e. end March onwards...

I spoke to Dora-Maria in the admissions office and she said the deadline will be 2 April for a conditional acceptance (condition on the basis of financial assistance).

Hi guys, I have received the package. It is very exciting how Michigan people want to make you feel special and how they write in a so personal and warm way.

I have also received NYU's offer. While NYU spent four pages talking about their law school, Michigan's super-friendly letter was centered on how important it is to have you in their program and how well you will fit in. That tells you a lot about their attitude towards LLM students.

I have not taken a decision yet (on the one hand NYU has also a terrific LLM, on the other hand I am waiting for other answers and for Michigan's decision on financial aid, which I need to attend the program), but Michigan's letter (and the rest of the package) has given me a very important clue about how much they care for their graduate students.

I also received the package a couple of hours ago. It is definitely impressive the way they treat admitted students. The letters are gentle and personalized and all the brochures showed that this Law School has a character and is a special place. The DVD with all the alumni speaking about their experience at Michigan was certainly superb!
I have also received admission by Chicago so far and I am waiting for responses from Harvard and Yale before I make my decision. But it will be hard to refuse the offer from Michigan after seeing this unique material they've just sent me...

I have to agree with L&E-pil; just received the package and I am impressed. I used to put Berkeley (still waiting a decision) over Michigan but now I am having second thoughts. I am still waiting to hear from Harvard, Berkeley and Columbia but Michigan's offer is very tempting!

havn't got my package yet, but with all these good things you guys talked about it, I really cannot wait to see ...
