I received the application complete thing on december 21. The e-mail said that decisions wil be made by March or early April. However, previous years there were applicants who where notified much earlier on their admission.

Anyone received LLM offer from Michigan?

Nothing so far from Michigan. Are we sure that they don't send admissions earlier than March? Last year there were people who were notified much earlier on their admission to Michigan's LL.M. I wonder if things have changed this year like i.e. at Berkeley, where they made clear that this year they won't send anything before April. Would it be wise to send them an e-mail and ask?

i would wait for another week, if still nothing yet, I might email to the admission office to ask. it appears to me that not many people apply to UM. i could be wrong though

I think Michigan's LL.M. admissions process is very competitive. In previous years there were people admitted by Harvard or Columbia, but rejected by Michigan. It's actually a small, quite exclusive LL.M. program and thus it's not so easy to get in.

I just received an e-mail stating that I have been offered admission to Michigan's LL.M. (the general one)! It's the first answer I receive from one of the 6 schools I have applied to and I am more than delighted!!! It's really a privilege to be able to study at Michigan and to live in such a campus of unique beauty!
(I received the application complete e-mail on December 21).
Good luck to everyone!

Hi rafadavi,
I sent my application in October.
I was in the top 8% of my class and I was a law review editor. I have published around 20 academic papers. I have also taught different courses in two universities. I have 4 years of professional experience and I have worked as full time professor of law, researcher at a think tank that do research on informal markets and economic development, and I am member of one of the courts of my country's competition agency.
