I just had to decline an offer of admission from Michigan. Broke my heart to do it but my employer wants me to go to a different school.

I was selected but no news about grants... :-(

I was put in waitlist on 28th March, and there's no further news till now, I've emailed today for my status. Anyone know what the chance that being picked up from waitlist would be?

Hello my dear friends. I am glad to know that many of you were admitted to study at the university of Michigan.
In my case, I am a lawyer from Venezuela, I am applying for admission to begin this fall 2012. I have talked with the lady of admission (Dora Maria) many times and she told me my application is ok but I have a problem, my toefl score does not reach the level they required yet, so Dora Maria told me I have to take the test again.
Even though I have taken the test twice, I haven't reached the proper score, I really feel frustrated because I have difficulties with the test, but I want to study at this university, It has been my dream for some years and I don't know what to expect.
In your experience, do you guys think I have chance? or maybe I should apply again next year when I reach the toefl score :(

Hi! I was offered admission on January 31st. Does anyone have clue about when scholarship decisions will be made?

In case anyone is interested, the committee that makes decisions on Michigan scholarships will gather on March 23 for the first time. Therefore, we have to wait at least to that date before having any news on the matter.

Is there anyway to follow the status of our application?

Has anybody heard from UMich? According to @MJON some fellowship decisions could come out today.

Hi everyone!

I was accepted as well, and will probably accept the offer (irrespective of any funding). UMich is apparently a very prestigious Law School.

Dora-Maria told me that they reviewed the first applications for aid yesterday, and they will probably sent out decisions in the course of next week.
