the offers have started coming in.
If you havnt yet heard from them then it implies your app is still under consideration.
However the longer you have to wait (beyond mid Feb) the slimmer your chances become as more and more are accepted each day and you then compete with the others for the seats then available.

Has anyone heard from michigan?

According to their own website, applicants receive notice of decision by late March or early April. It's sort of odd some decisions are already out by mid-Feb.

This is what the admission guys had to say.
Dear Mr. [Hidden],
For LLM admissions, we have a modified rolling admissions process. This means that although we start communicating decisions sometime around February, we cannot communicate all decisions at once. We dont want to make anyone wait for the decision longer than absolutely necessary, but its simply impossible to make all decisions at once, so we do continue making offers all the way into early April. Thus, not hearing from us in, say, February, does not automatically imply a negative decision, but rather that the application is still under review.
Should you have any additional questions, or any concerns, please feel free to contact me again.
With best regards,
Dora-Maria Sonderhoff

Their e-mails can be rather misleading, I guess. This is what I got.

FYI - I've just received an envelope from Michigan containing an offer of admission. The letter is dated February 18. My application was completed on November 25.

Does this mean UMich sends admission letters by snail mail instead of email?
