Yup, I think I already discussed that in the above link. I prefer D'Agostino since the location is better (albeit only slightly). I think the rooms are bigger in Mercer though.

Just wanted to add one thing that I forgot to mention in the other thread: Mercer is one block away from the Coles gym.

Hi, what about the small studios? How do these compare with the residences? How early does need to apply to get these accomodations?

My understanding is that the studios are very hard to get and are often allocated to couples. I could be wrong though.

Hey Guys, what are the views like from the mercer? is it very noisey on the broadway side of the building?

I may live in the noisiest apartment of Mercer (second floor, Broadway side). The windows are well-sealed, but on the weekends it gets pretty noisy (in particular, I hate ambulance drivers and firefighters). I got used to it and I don´t wake up at night - and, as a matter of fact, I am not moving during Summer... However, I would recommend you to try to get an apartment on the Mercer side of the building.

Does it make a difference in terms of noise level if you are on the lower, middle or upper floors on the Mercer side?
