I've been admitted and ... this is the first year of this program!

Curious... an admittee indicates he is spending whole year in Bologna. The requirements indicate 9 units in first semester in Los Angeles. Are the options?
Posted Mar 16, 2006 14:35
No there are no options. If you're an American law school graduate, you spend the first semester in Los Angeles and the second in Bologna. If you're not an American law grad, however, you spend the whole year in Bologna. A divided class.

I am debating studying in this program. Does any one know anyone who has completed this program? Are there alot of American law graduates attending this program?
Posted Apr 19, 2006 11:00
it's the first year of the program so we'll be the first group to complete it. i'm also curious myself how many american graduates will be there in the second semester - maybe Loyola will tell you if you call them (if you really want to know).

I was at the presentation of the course in bologna last december, and I can say that is a very good programme, with an excellent guide, Professor Chiara Giovannucci Orlandi, an international expert in arbitration law and really good person...Ciao Valerio

Hi Tortello
So R you going to join the program?
By the way, if you are already in Italy, would you happen to have any tips concerning housing?
Any help would be useful!
Cheers

No I'm not going to join the Programme for different reasons...but if you are interested you should look at the web site of Loyola where you will find all informations needed for housing...Probably the best choice would be taking an apartment with 2-3 other students, so that you save some money...

I know Prof. Giovannucci Orlandi, coordinator of the LLM, she's really good. The courses will be teached by italian, european and american professors and lessons will be concentrated on friday and saturday (at least for italian students). Contact directly university for housing info.
