LLM in International IP - Chicago-Kent

Yuji

I'd like to study international aspects of IP law, and I'm interested in the LLM in international intellectual property law at Chicago-Kent.
Could you let me know if you have any comments on the quality or reputation about the course?
Also, I would appreciate your suggestions of other law schools which might be of my interest, if you have any.
Thanks!

What are your goals? Why this school in particular?

It's not a particularly well-ranked school - and as a result may lack the network that a higher-ranked school would have - but if the program appeals to you that's not necessarily a deal breaker.

If you're US-bound and wanted to study IP law in an international law context though, you'd have a few other options that may be worth considering. GW Law, for example, its LLM in IP Law has a great selection of international IP courses. Same thing with Berkeley Law, which is highly regarded in this field.

Also: don't neglect Santa Clara Law, which is one of the top US schools for IP Law (based on the US News ranking) - its LLM is fantastic in this regard as well.
