I graduated from an ABA-approved law school and am admitted to the Michigan bar. I'm considering pursuing a taxation LLM through a non-accredited institution via correspondence courses.
I'm wondering what people think of this, what potential employers would likely think, etc.

They would probably laugh. Don't waste your money.

There are other online accredited programs you can look at. I think there is one based in San Diego. If you are looking for something more competitive, NYU offers the E-LLM online.
