LAST or LLM???

Amitee

I will graudate with a B.A in English literature and a minor in
financial law.
Should I take LAST or LLM?

If I only have LAST grade, am I not qualified for some law school?

Moreover, do I need a GRE along with my application? Or TOEFL will be enough.

Please help me with these questions!!

Thanks

You can't take an LL.M. It's a post-graduate degree in law. Applying for an LL.M. Degree Program only requires TOEFL.

The LSAT (Law School Admissions Test) is required to be admitted to MOST law schools' JD program. A few do not require it. I am not aware of any law school that requires the LSAT for its LLM program.

Please note that to be eligible for an LLM, you need to have a JD or its foreign equivalent. In essence, you need a law degree FIRST. Since you only have a bachelors in English, I assume that you do not yet have a law degree, the LLM would not be appropriate at this point.

There are some good books about getting into law school. If you are currently in the US, just go to a big bookstore or do a search online for some admissions guidance.
Good luck!
