I am planning to apply to many of the top tax LLM programs in the states. I currently live in LA and would prefer to practice here. I know Loyola has a strong program and is my #1 choice if I decide to stay in LA. However, I believe with the grades and experience I have, I would be accepted to the top schools, like NYU and Georgetown.

So I have two questions: (1) what are the job prospects after graduating from a top school like NYU (in NY or any other state) and (2) what the job prospects in LA if I go out of state like NYU. These questions are of course considering the horrible job market I will face after graduation.

I would appreciate any answers or advice.
Thanks so much.
