I want to know what are my chances of getting into LL.M. program in securities and fin. reg. and what can i do to improve those chances? My primary choice is Georgetown, but i am also looking at NYU. I am a rising 3L from a mid school among top 100, with 3.0 GPA. Without naming the school it's in the top 5 in NYC. I Edit the International journal and i am published. What are my chances at Georgetown LL.M?

Is an LL.M full time right after J.D. a good idea instead of a full time job, or is it better to find something and do LL.M. part time?

Also, if you do LL.M. full time, cause you can't find what you looking for, how much help is it reasonable to expect from the school's career center?

Are LL.M classes as competitive as J.D. and do employers value the LL.M. transcript as much as the do J.D. transcript?
