Its 15th the deciding day...mid-march..end of wait...any news from NYU / HLS???

I don't think that HLS are going to get back to us this week (even though that realization hasn't stopped me checking my email every 5 minutes!). They're on Spring Break from today until next Monday. I'm assuming "they" includes the LLM Professors/those looking over the applications.

In relation to NYU, they don't have their spring break for another while (insofar as I am aware). They've been releasing decisions for a while now though, so my guess is they're waiting to see who accepts their offers. I got an offer which I don't have to respond to for a while, but I think they are putting pressure on those who were offered scholarships to reply earlier.

Regardless of when we hear, I hope you get where you're hoping to go!

I would not expect a decision until next week from HLS. It is not 'late March' yet, and as togatoga says they are on spring break this week. Next week is more likely, though it is possible that admin staff work through spring break (if application tracker is anything to go by they work some crazy hours).

^ true. Are all decisions released on the same day, or is it staggered?

I think, because they're using the Embark System this year, all decisions will come on the same day.

Hmmm. Crap :P I wasn't nervous earlier today, because I was expecting decisions next week, but I have just skimmed back through previous years (08/09) and in those years decisions did not come later than the Monday beginning the third week of March. (Yes, this 'research' is a bit sad.)

That said, in 2008/2009 they did say to expect decisions by the 22nd/21st of March when they were issued on the 17th and 16th respectively. This year, they have said to expect decisions by March 26. This would seem to suggest decisions would be released next Monday (22nd).

Just to fuel the paranoia further, it seems from this board that decisions have tended to be released in the morning the last few years, between 9am-11am Boston time.

I should really get away from this board to distract myself but it would make little difference to the email-watching as I'm at work and have my email open all the time anyway :) Hope our spam filter doesn't try and catch any emails from Harvard!

Haha! To be honest, re all this clock-watching...I suppose Harvard-material candidates would be able to warp the fabric of the space-time continuum with the sheer brilliance of their intellect ;)

No reply from admissions may mean nobody is there this week (spring break) - don't bombard em with calls though, in case there is somebody there getting irritated!
