Is a 3-4 pag Resume Ok? Or should it be 1-2?

Hi, I have always thought that a CV should have 2 pag max; nevertheless, i have seen in various law school web pages that the professors or the TA have 3-4 pages in their CV. My current CV has 2 pages, although I would like to add an extra page only with my list of publications. Do you think a 3pag CV will affect my negatively? any one that can share previous experiences? Somebody that got into a top school (HLS, YLS, SLS,etc) with 3 -4pag CV?

THANKS!

One page resume is recommend for job applications only, because employers might not have motivation/patience to go through several pages. You just want to present them total package in one snapshot.

Law school applications are different. If you worked couple of years or have publications, obviously it is going to be 2-5 pages long. Admissions committee should evaluate you on content.

Hi! Thanks for the comment! Were you accepted into one of the school i mentioned? Anyone else have a recommendation? Tks!

Hi man, I got accepted to all the schools I applied to including HLS and YLS. I did not even pay attention to the CV's length. I was only interested in communicating all I thought was relevant. I think it was full 4 pages with small letters.
I would worry about the length of the personal statement, not the CV, unless the school sets a clear limit, like the case of NYU that says max. 2 pages.
Hope this helps!
