Hi! I have received a call from Columbia. I applied under early review program and the result was communicated on 20th dec.
Has anyone heard from NYU international taxation program?

Hi!
Comfort in numbers. :) Thanks for starting this thread. I've only heard back from Duke. Applied to all the places you mentioned above. NYU, UPenn and Columbia seem to have begun sending acceptances though.

Hi All,

I've heard back from George Washington and Georgetown, and I'm waiting on Chicago, Columbia and Stanford. I wanted to know if anyone is planning to appear for the New York Bar Exam, and if they have submitted their request for evaluation?

Thanks, and congratulations to all that have made it into their dream schools!

Regards,
AJ

Hi,

Per my understanding, we will be eligible to write the NY Bar Exam only in July next year (2020). The NY Bar website states that the request for evaluation and all supporting documentation will have to be submitted by October 1, 2019 (in order to attempt to write the exam in July 2020).

This website provides the details: http://www.nybarexam.org/Foreign/ForeignLegalEducation.htm.

Thanks, srs594.

Yep, I did go through the rules and have created my account previously. I basically had a question on how one goes about getting a letter of law school accreditation from the BCI, and how much time would it usually take. Is the letter necessary or is the list of accredited schools on BCI’s website sufficient for this required?

Thanks,
AJ
