Hey everyone,
I am thinking about applying for UVA. As I have already read on the board here, a lot of people say that Charlottesville is a great place to study.
But on wikipedia it says that the population is about 40.000 and I think that this is very, very small.
So does ist become boring after some time? On the other hand the LLM only lasts 10 months, so perhaps for such a short period it stays interesting.
What are your experiences?

As someone who has lived in Charlottesville for a year, I can see how life might get boring there. Then again, the students bring plenty of excitement to the town. After all, the entire town revolves around the university. There is definitely excitement and parties for those who seek it. Yes, even in the law school... home of Feb Club and Softball.
Or, if such fraternal-type excitement isn't your cup of tea (and you are only there for 10 months), you could just focus on your studies for the most part, and just resign yourself to a boring social life.
