I applied in November for the NYU LLM in tax. Decisions should be released soon and that makes me nervous as you can imagine !!

I had written to NYU asking as to when can applicant expect an answer on their application?

Well they wrote back saying, "...LL.M. applicants who meet the December 1st deadline will be notified of the Committee on Graduate Admissions decision on in early to mid-March.."

Oops - I guess I was a bit remiss in stating what this thread was for - my apologies people - I meant those who applied to be Hauser Global Scholars at NYU! My apologies for those who had been mislead - though thanks guys for the kind replies!

i think most of the students have applied for it because it enables a student to b considered for other scholarships too.......so i applied.........

I applied.

But I think my chances are low because there was a Hauser Global Scholar from my (very small) country selected for 07/08 with credentials very similar to mine. Oh well -- we'll just have to wait and see!

psag --> you can see the Singapore Hauser scholar's cv on the Hauser Global Scholars website. i find that to be a pretty useful indication of what the Hauser people look for.
