When applied a couple of years ago I wrote against abortion.

I wrote on the recent P-Notes controversy in India and regulation of capital markets

I wrote an essay on the implementation of the MIfid directive in Italy and its impact on the Italian regulatory framework

I wrote on the wide-ranging discretionary powers of the Indian Supreme Court under Articles 136 and 142 of our Constitution, and on the parameters (and self-imposed limitations) that ought to be kept in mind while exercising these powers.

The Harvard Essay is amazingly challenging isnt it?? More than any other personal statement/essay...It asks you to say so much in just 1500 words...

Its also a challenge to contextualise it, since you dont know how familiar the admissions committee is with the laws of your native place. I found that more of a challenge. How much information is too much information? what do they really need to know to understand the question and the analysis? and of course the word limit!

I wrote on copyright piracy in India and the world. The essay was very tough. Hope I have included everythin tht was needed
