(1) Question A: What is Harvard or NYU looking for from a candidate?
(2) Where I am at: Im a second year at a tier 1, sold work experience, likely will law review or other journal next year. Two summer assoc. last summer, Moot Court team and various positions in a few clubs. Pursuing an internship at the IRS over next summer or during a semester and possibly at the SEC also. Likely to graduate with a 3.6 within top 25% of class. I am in Tax I; I enjoy it; I like the idea of the 1 year LLM program and would possibly like to pursue a career in this field.
(3) Question B: More generally, where would I fall? I am trying to plan my approach to these programs.
(4) Question C: What career options would a graduate from a top 10 tax LLM program who wants to practice be afforded?
