Hi all,
I was admitted to HLS - Due to financial reasons, I am thinking of deferring from Harvard. Hence, two questions:
(a) Has anyone here deferred from HLS for a year, and if so, can you tell me what has been your experience?
(b) I applied for financial aid but have yet to hear from them - I'm sure I'm asking you to take a stab in the dark, but from your experience, can I just check what sort of finanacial aid offers a person who has about approximately US$30,000 in the bank is likely to get (analogies with your experience would be most appreciated!)?
Harvard is the only place I want to go but due to unforeseen financial circumstances (that would take up a major chunk of my savings), without the possibility of considerable financial aid, would be unable to make it for this year :(
Thanks and look forward to hearing from all of you!
