Harvard will contact should anything be missing. They e-mailed me last week inquiring whether I would send them a recommendation letter. So, I'm certain they will contact you if anything's missing; don't worry.
And yes...this waiting period shall be long, cold and lonely...

hey guys have not received the second mail from Harvard...is it that they send mails to only those students who have a better change of getting placed...i received the first mail on 06/12/07..not heard from them after that....

I am also waiting to receive the second e-mail :(

I received a second email 3 days ago (5 January) confirming that my application was complete, having received the first email back on 28 November.
I imagine it is purely random who gets notified first and I also doubt it has anything whatsoever to do with your chances of being admitted.
The wait is a real pain though isnt it?

I doubt that the fact that they have informed us that our applications are complete has anything to do with whether or not they perceive us to be better/stronger candidates. The review by the Admissions commitee is a separate process from an "application complete" confirmation.
the wait IS a killer.....

Is there any way to make personal queries to Harvard?
Has some one have a contact in Harvard who actually read and answer e-mails?
Seems to me that there is zero personal attention, and we have to wait until some one remembers our application.
Any comments?

Waiting is the name of the game at this part of the application process... we all went thru it last year and unfortunately, there's no human way they could handle a ton of personal inquiries at this point.
If you do get in though, and hopefully you will, you'll get bombarded with personal attention from all the Graduate Program staff :)

Can someone share with us the body of the e-mail sent by Harvard stating that the application is complete?
I sent my application 3 months ago, and havent received that e-mail yet.

I received an e-mail today saying that my application is currently incomplete because one of my transcripts is missing. I will send it in the next days.

Well Kovac I received an identical mail.. However that was just some misunderstanding on their part which I clarified..
Would anyone is HLS already rolling out decisions? or when will it begin to?

I think the second email said you can expect a decision in March 08. That is, the 'application complete' email. Best of luck.

No, don't worry. I had sent my application in early november, received my 1st e-mail around the 10th of November and got my second e-mail a few days ago. So don't worry.
