Ok, so the first of what im sure will be many heart attacks happened today. I received an email from Admissions encouraging me to apply to a specific scholarship. Did anyone else receive the same and freak out haha?

Hello. I am Australian and therefore it was Australian citizen/resident specific.

That's interesting. I did not receive such email. I'm assuming that Harvard would notify certain students who have a chance to apply to certain scholarships that are available to them before the deadline. I am assuming this because there are no scholarships available where I'm from.

According to the information from the previous thread, they should inform us approximately within a week after admission decisions will be issued.

Highly likely. As we can see from the previous years, there is very high probability that it will be between 15-18 March.

2009 - 22nd - Sunday
2010 - 21st - Sunday
2011 - 19th - Saturday
2012 - 18th - Sunday
2013 - 18th - Monday
2014 - 19th - Wednesday
2015 - 17th - Tuesday
2016 - 16th - Wednesday
2017 - 15th - Wednesday

I am reapplying. I got a rejection last year. Anybody with a success story on reapplication. I just need something positive to calm me down. Thanks.

Based on previews discussions, I saw some successful re-applicants.

I do not think that re-applicants have any disadvantage towards first-time applicants. I believe your application will not be 'judged' towards the fact you re-apply. The competition for admission can be very tough at times. Especially at Harvard.

TRY not to think of the outcome, although I am personally failing at this task :)
