HARVARD 2014

Based on what I have heard about the NY Bar, it is not easy but it is not as hard as many european bar exams are. so if you went through one in your home country this one will possibly take 2,3 months of your life but should not be more stressful than what you have already experienced. And, you know I would not say that it is just for CV purpose because it is a qualification that most people in my field have if they work in the US. So it is more like an informal job qualification rather than a "nice to have in my résumé"

Hi all! My toefl ibt score was released and forwarded to Harvard by ETS on November 12. However, the track status still says: "no status please check back later." I dropped an email at GPquery@law.harvard.edu, and they said they have not received my score report. I also sent an email to ETS, but still got no response. Does anyone encounter the same problem? or if you guys may share, how long did it take from your score release until the status changed in the track status? Thank you all in advance

Hi! I have the same problem with my Toefl scores. Did you have a solution? What did you do to fix it?

Thanks!

Hi! I found this forum a little late but I am glad to hear about other people applying. I am applying to several programs: Harvard, Yale, Stanford (SPILS), Columbia, NYU, Chicago, LSE, Berkeley, and an European Master in Law and Economics (I choose in this program Hamburg, Rotterdam, and Vienna).
I am from Colombia, I am a lawyer and economist from los Andes University. I am in the top 10 with my combined average of my two undergraduate programs, my average in Law is actually higher than my combined average.
My profile is an academic one, with a strong concentration in Law and Economics. I worked in several projects with the law school of los Andes university, and in the economics field I have been working with researchers from recognized USA universities (Brown, Upenn, PennState). I also worked as assistant professor of several classes in both departments (Law School and Economics Department). I wrote several articles and a chapter of a book about law and economics. Additionally, I were invited to two international conferences (one in Harvard, the other one in the university of British Columbia in Vancouver) to present my undergraduate thesis and other article I wrote. So, here is my profile. I expect we keep in touch during this process, while we wait for the announcement. Good luck!!

Hi, guys! I have a question about financial aid. It is said that the financial aid application does not affect you admission in any way. But I wonder, why is there a question in the applisation form wheather you can afford the funding of your study at Harvard by yourself and wheather you are going to apply for HLS financial aid?

Did anyone hear from Harvard in any way?
Of course, I expect none of us to have received a decision at this point. I was just wondering how the applications review was going on.

Hi Jack13,

Based on what the track status provides, I think the admission committee has received all of my application components. I am pretty sure the committee is now reviewing our applications in order to release its decision on the third Monday of March.

I was asked 2 days ago to provide additional information (didn't think it would be required); other than that, I think decisions will start coming in by early March.
It's going to be a long-hopeful wait!

Hi!

I was wondering what kind of information they asked you?? It was about your resume or more materials?

Hi Everyone,

Just a small survery to know where are you guys coming from, in order to see what nationalities are the most represented among Harvard's applicants.

I'm from Paris, France.

Good luck to you guys!

Cassius.
