Hey!!
My application status is not "complete". Still saying "received" on each component. Does anyone knows why? Or is having the same issue?

Thanks.

I still got an update on my application status as at 27th February showing "received" for a document (Lsac Report) that has been showing the same word "received" since October. Dont know what that implies. Hope doesnt mean late receipt!!!

Hey guys,

I am a current LL.M student at Harvard. Thought I'd take a look at LL.M guide thread - I was freaking about the admission this time last year.

Admissions last year arrived on March 17 or 20th if I'm not mistaken so wait a little bit more. You will receive the contacts of current LL.Ms and will be placed in special facebook group for upcoming LL.Ms we will then answer all your questions/concerns.

This is an amazing experience.

So what do you guys/girls say? Decisions will be released the 10th, 17th, 24th or 31st?

My bets are on the 17th.

Best luck to all!

Hi everyone! Although it is just one of the criteria in the application process, I would just like to ask for your opinion on the class rank required in order to gain admission into Harvard's LLM Program. Thank you very much for sharing your insights!

My guess is that the class rank is quite important. If a student is for instance only in the top 50 % and not higher at his/her first law school, schools such as Harvard might wonder how such student would hold up in a class of excellent students from all around the world. I believe the top schools are looking for the top students - but as we keep saying, in the end, its about the whole package. Even top 50 % (and maybe less, I dont know) might be enough, if you are from a very good school (where getting a higher rank is more difficult), and/or if you are an extremely interesting candidate for other reasons (work experience, interests, extracurricular activities...)

You guys sure the decisions will be released on 17th March? all together? I learnt from previous years that the school will send an email and ask the applicant to check their own application acount, the decision is in it.

I doubt the results will be released on the 17th. If I am not mistaken, the spring break at Harvard is from the 16th to the 23rd. They will probably release immediately after.

Really are those the Spring break dates?

I thought third week of March was the thumb rule - in any event not too long a wait either.

I believe HLS spring break is irrelevant to admission, as it applies mostly to students. Last year was Harvard spring break between March 18-22. However, LL.M admission was on March 18, according to this forum and HLS AppTracker.

I´m firmly betting on March, 17. But of course, I have no inside info and I might be wrong.

Good luck to all anyway.:)

Btw.

Is HLS your first choice?

Does anyone know anything about financial aid process? (timing, procedure, possible amount, if we know about it from admission email or later)

I think you're right, I'm betting on next week as well!

HLS is definitely my first choice, as I am sure it is for the majority who've applied:)

Financial Aid decisions I understand are released around the First of April.

Fingers crossed everyone!

Hi legalEagle,

Do you know whether HLS will release its decisions within one single day?

Judging from past few years (HLS threads 2011, 2012, 2013), it seems all decisions are sent one day at the same time: you are either accepted, waitlisted or rejected...
