Hello everyone, I'm new to the board. I'm currently in 2L at the university of Toronto...Quick couple of questions..
1) where can i find info on grade requirements for LLMs in the US, or can someone give me an idea for say the top ten to fifteen schools. ALso how much weight is given to undergrad grades vs. law school grades

2) Are there any Cdns? if so, is it a disadvantage to do an LLM in the states and then practice in Canada? in terms of learning US law and in terms of being delayed for the articling process because you went to school??

I am not Canadian, but I can tell you for sure that there are some Canadian LLMs at Columbia this year. One of the Teaching Assistants for the introductory course is also Canadian (he is an LLM of 2004 or 2005). So I suppose there must be some kind of good sense in pursuing an LLM as a Canadian ;-)

Now even if you're not Canadian could some people who know or who are currently doing their LLM at one of the top schools please give me an idea of what your law school grades were? as well how the undergrad was received? Don't worry folks it's anonymous so post away! lol
