Hi there. Yes, it seems like a bunch of people have been accepted. I received my acceptance notice yesterday.
I would not worry if I were you. They accept 400+ students and probably take a while to contact every one of them.
And, if you do not get in, then you're probably not meant to be there anyway and there's something better in store for you in the future :) So no need to worry!

hey law1982,
i haven't heard anything either and i was starting to worry too, especially since i found out that people from my country got accepted yesterday..
does anyone know if they contact applicants by region/country, like some schools do? by specialization? or is it random? thanks a lot!
let's keep our fingers crossed!

I wouldn't worry either :-)

i'm worried too! i haven't heard anything, save the confirmation email that my application is under consideration -- months ago. i am trying to resign myself to not getting any scholarship money from nyu, even if i do get in. since it sounds like a lot of the grotius, vanderbilt and hausers acceptances have gone out. :-(

So do I.

If it makes you feel any better my guess is that we'll see more acceptances go out after the deadline for accepting scholarships or tuition waivers, which seems to be March 6th. At the very least I would think that the people next in line to receive scholarships wouldn't be admitted in the first round of acceptances. It would make sense for NYU to first wait and see how many scholarships are taken. Otherwise, a person might get an admission offer with no scholarship offer and a April 15 deadline, and then, if a scholarship recipient drops out, NYU would have to send them out another offer, presumably with a shorter deadline. Maybe I'm wrong about this, but it seems logical to me.

Did any1 get accepted to the business track in NYU ??

I did not hear from them yet too. NYU is my dream. I live already in NYC so it is going to be perfect for me about the location. I applied for the IT Program. I also heard some students from country already accepted in the program that I'm trying. Let's no be scared. Let's have a hope! Good Lock for all!

Just to let you guys a little bit more calm, a friend of mine who is doing the program this year said that the answers will go through until the end of March, around March 20th. They accept many, many students for the Corporate Program. If you guys are waiting for that, just wait...

Plase, where did you read that the deadline to accept the scholarship is March 6? I received an offer and in my letter that is no deadline to accept the scholarship, but only the deadline to accept the offer of admittance, which is April 15th. Tks

Calm down folks, given its mega size, NYU always offers us surprising joys
Posted Mar 05, 2009 14:14
Take it easy, pals! Deep breath, calm down... Anxiety sucks, but consider that there is just nothing else we can do but wait... the dice are rolling and soon we will all have the decisions in our mailboxes.

Reading NYU's website, I found out that first the acceptance letters are delivered by e-mail then, people will receive by mail.
They said that the acceptance will be delivered beginning and middle of March. All the others answers will be delivered just by e-mail. But they said that the final answers to all international students will arrive until the end of June. I believe that the acceptances will all be delivered until end of March. After that just the rejections and maybe they could still hold some people for spaces that some other people rejected. Some people accepted other schools, some do not have money to pay the LLM and did not received scholarship, some others did not receive enough scholarship to cover all they needed. Remembering that the cost living in NYU is ridiculous expansive. It is not everybody who can afford a life here.
