Hello everyone! Congratulations to those who got accepted, I was very happy to receive an offer today myself (I applied as a foreign-trained lawyer before the early decision deadline of 8 Nov.). There was no mention of scholarships in the email I received - is this the same for everyone? Do you know whether there is anything I should do to be considered for one?
Cheers!

Hi, I didn't receive information regarding scholarships either. However, I contacted the Graduate Studies Office and they told me that they will be announcing financial aid decissions in mid march 2020. And as far as I am aware, you don´t need a different application for financial aid, given that you are not in the situation for applying to specific fellowships that are published in their website for specific programs.

Regards!

That is correct, however, I know they recommend sending an e-mail in mid January and expressing your interest in the scholarship. There is no separate application and everyone is considered for the GT scholarships but it is better to send an email and expressly state that. The Commitee usually reconvenes in the late January so contact them before that.

Good tip! Thank you very much! I will certainly contact them in mid-january then.

I also got accepted to the LL.M. in Taxation and am thrilled! Does anybody know how large the LL.M. class will be (Taxation students only)?

No idea but I'm wondering the same thing. I'll also be attending for the tax LL.M.

Hi everyone! To those accepted, I just wanted to know if in the email that you guys received, it indicated that you were accepted into a specific LL.M. program or it just said LL.M. program:

Mine displayed this message:

"I'm very pleased to inform you of your admission to Georgetown's LL.M. program"

Since I applied to the Tax LL.M., I'm wondering if it should've said "...Georgetown's Taxation LL.M. program" or something along those lines.

Thank you!

Even my acceptance letter just mentions the 'LLM program' and not my specific selection.

Hi, my email only refers to the "LL.M. program" in general, although I applied to the General Studies, with intention in undertaking the Securities and Financial Regulation Certificate.

I applied for the Global Health Law LLM and my acceptance email only referred to the "LL.M. program". My guess is that we will receive more specific information when the rest of our information comes.

Hello - Happy New Year to you all! I received an admissions offer on December 20th via e-mail, just before I left for vacation. So it was a nice surprise. My application was completed early October and the online portal showed an October status date for a long time. I had applied Early Decision. For those still awaiting admissions offers, good luck. Regardless of the decision, you know 2020 is going to take you where you want to go. Keep at it!

My application status has changed to "Current Status: Application Completed

According to Georgetown's website "Decisions are typically rendered within 6-10 weeks after your application is completed" :O

Good luck everyone!!!!
