I applied on November 6th to the General Studies LLM, but I intend to pursue the Securities and Financial Regulation Certificate


Nice! Congrats again! I applied to the executive (online) llm in sec and fin reg. We should keep in touch if I get admitted. From what I see, there’s not a lot of students in this program.

Hi guys, just received my acceptance email from Georgetown! Good luck to everyone!


Congrats!!!! Did you notice if your application status changed before you received the acceptance email?

I still haven’t heard and am getting nervous. Hope this is merely because of rolling admissions, not because of negative implications.

Are you US educated? I feel like they review foreign educated applications first. Their early action deadline is before US educated too.

Are you US educated? I feel like they review foreign educated applications first. Their early action deadline is before US educated too.



No, I am a foreign lawyer and I applied to the school on the deadline of early decision, which was Nov 8.

I am sure that the admission process for US educated applicants will be in the different admission cycle as you explain.

Hi, no I didn't check. But I've just checked and my status still says "Application Complete".
