I also applied late Feb. I believe it's rolling admissions, so I'm guessing the late comers will just have to wait. I would have applied sooner had I been paying attention to deadlines, this deadline was WAY earlier than the other schools I applied to, and I wasn't sure I would apply at all except my advisor convinced me I should.
I'm anxiously waiting for my status to even change, but it hasn't budged in a month...

They seem to release decisions at the end of the week--Thursday and Friday. So if you don't hear anything today, try not to think about it again until late next week--I know, impossible, right?

I think they say August because that is the latest you would hear. Last year, many people were waitlisted and received decisions in March, April . . . It depends on where you are on the waitlist for your particular program. Of course, they won't tell you where you are because they want you to wait.

Hi guys! I was admitted and was offered a scholarship. But will not go this year due to family reasons. So starting from today there is one vacant place in the class. Good luck to those who was waitlisted! Georgetown University is really awesome and worth waiting for it!
