Nothing from my end at least. I e-mailed the Admissions Office and was told that the scholarship decisions would be made through April (after we have necessarily made a deposit to secure our admission offer?). Anyways, considering the number of LL.M. students they take each year, I'm not too optimistic about it lol.

That is annoying. Like you said, most deadlines are prior to that. Need it sooner.

Hi,
Georgetown's website states the following:

When will I know the decision? The Office of Graduate Admissions aims to extend decisions within 6-10 weeks of the date the application is complete.
https://www.law.georgetown.edu/admissions-aid/graduate-admissions/llm-degree-programs/program-specific-requirements/
Hope this is helpful 263a

I applied but nothing yet...

On another note, for the admitted students, how are you accessing the admitted student portals? I did not receive any login  info or email on how to retrieve such login credentials! Thank you.

You will receive an email with the generic password for the admitted students portal, alongside with the instructions to set up your net ID and credentials.

I was surprised to learn they advertise International Arbitration Scholar as a full ride (partial to full) while in fact what I was told from GT it is 50%.
Not saying that is bad, but you should clearly state that the max you offer with this award is 50% of tuition.

Really? That surprises me as well, since the website says "scholars will receive partial to full tuition scholarships for their LL.M. studies, [...]". I guess we'll have to wait and see.

I was told that. Additionally, a friend of mine that works at Freshfields in London (arbitration) personally talked with the person in charge (u know who that is) as she wanted to go there. And she was surprised when they told her that the max is 50%. Not cool to mislead people.
The only thing I can imagine is that they want people to secure funding regardless of this option.  But in the case of this friend of mine, she could literally enroll at any program given her educational and professional background. Plus, she has cash. So, it doesn't make much sense to tell her that the scholarship amounts to 50% if that's not an accurate info.

Hi guys! I was wondering about the admission notices for non-early applicants... it seems that Georgetown used to be very active during February in past years, but this year is different... do you guys know anything about that or when to expect responses? Thanks 1f643

Hi gabisv,
It is a bit odd, indeed... The app tracker of past years shows way more activity during February. This year we had one or two offers (?)...
Did anybody contact GULC's admissions office recently? If so, what did they say?
Thanks!

So i had submitted my application on the 29th of December however my application was only marked complete on the 29th of January due to some administrative issues at their end. I wrote to them yesterday enquiring about the status of the application to which they responded that they cannot guarantee an exact date by when I was likely to hear back and that they will take 8-12 weeks from when my application was marked complete.

Hey! Yes, I received my admission letter for the LLM in International Legal Studies on 5 March, so I guess they're still rolling out the decisions.
